Project scope

4057 Cradle Mountain Rd, Cradle Mountain TAS 7306

COVA delivered specialist Mechanical design for the hydronic floor heating and heat recovery air conditioning systems for the new $6M Cradle Mountain Visitor Gateway. We were later engaged to deliver all Building Services for the new cafe fitout also. Due to the location and geometry of the development the project was fully documented into a high level of detail (nom. LoD 400) and included Mitsubishi heat pumps suitable for -20°C operation with snow/frost protection. This project is probably the most highly-awarded project in COVA's history - congratulations to Cumulus Studio for developing a Tasmanian tourism icon.
