Project scope
COVA is Tasmanian Walking Co.'s building services engineer, providing off-grid design engineering support across the company's portfolio in Tasmania and nationally.
As part of this engagement, COVA delivered all building services for the Tasman Camp Long Weekender: prefabricated buildings designed by Saxon Hall Architects and constructed by Space Cube.
Like all Tasmanian Walking Co. projects, the work involved detailed modelling of rainwater, wastewater, gas, energy generation (solar, wind and backup diesel generator) and battery storage, using local weather data and forecast hiker numbers.
