Refurbishing hotels that never close

Much of our hotel work happens while the hotel trades. The FCC Phnom Penh and FCC Siem Reap refurbishments ran around live operations, with works staged and services changeovers timed to occupancy.

The resort portfolio spans Australia, Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean: Sheraton Resort & Spa and the Indra Regent in Thailand, Anantara Kihavah in the Maldives, and Emirates One & Only Wolgan Valley in New South Wales.

Owner-side delivery across Asia

Across Asia, hotel owners appoint COVA to manage cost and construction end to end: feasibility and cost planning through procurement, construction and the final account, with engineering, commercial management and delivery running as one appointment.

Resort sites add their own constraints - island logistics, local utilities, climate - and designs are adapted to each rather than transplanted.

Can you refurbish a hotel while it trades?
Yes. Works are staged wing by wing or floor by floor, services changeovers run in low-occupancy windows, and temporary plant keeps guest areas comfortable throughout - the approach COVA used on the FCC refurbishments in Cambodia.
