Project scope
COVA managed the full refurbishment of the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers on the banks of Bangkok's Chao Phraya River. To keep the hotel operating throughout the upgrades, the team worked four floors at a time, using the floors above and below as a noise buffer to protect the guest experience while working through every level of the building.
Works also included repainting the building facade and heavy remedial repairs to the underside of the riverside deck, which had borne years of pressure from the river.
