COVA is an Australian-founded built environment professional services firm. The practice began in Hobart in 1979 and today works from offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Hobart, delivering building services engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire), commercial management, project and construction management and advisory for asset owners and developers.

The Australian practice is led by Simon Little, Executive Director for Australia and COVA's Head of Engineering. COVA operates a JAS-ANZ accredited Integrated Management System certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and is pre-qualified under Australian Government schemes including the Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme (OFSC).

The 178 Australian projects featured on this site range from hospitals, schools and universities to retail centres, hotels, social housing and off-grid eco-tourism.

What we do in Australia

Four service lines, one appointed team

  • Commercial Management - RICS-regulated cost and commercial management (quantity surveying): cost planning, procurement, contract administration and final account.
  • Project & Construction Management - single-point management of scope, programme, cost and quality, from front-end planning through construction to handover.
  • Project Advisory - feasibility, and technical and financial due diligence before capital is committed.
  • Engineering - mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire design support.
