IKEA Richmond Expansion
Project scope
Engaged by Mainbrace Constructions, COVA provided all building engineering services for the major 2018 refurbishment of the IKEA Victoria Gardens store in Richmond: a showroom extension, new store entry and lift areas, and a completely overhauled kitchen. The project won Sustainability Victoria's Premier's Sustainability Award in the large business category, recycling 85 per cent of construction materials and installing solar-powered charging stations.
