Project scope
In 1992, the Anglican Church was permitted by agreement with the government to re-establish in the Kingdom of Cambodia, after decades of conflict in which religious organisations had limited freedoms.
The main Anglican church in Phnom Penh was initially a pre-1975 two-storey colonial villa. The site was redeveloped into an eight-storey building with a 300-seat sanctuary, a multipurpose hall, the administrative centre for the Anglican Church of Cambodia, an education centre and a guest house.
