The Siem Reap Provincial Heart Centre, built by a project team from COVA Cambodia, was officially inaugurated by Cambodia’s Ministry of Health on 26 February 2026. The specialised cardiac hospital serves Siem Reap and the surrounding provinces, and was built with the support of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
COVA was engaged to provide a complete solution: project feasibility, commercial management, project management, architecture and engineering, with COVA Cambodia’s project team leading the construction.
Heart disease — coronary artery disease in particular — is among the leading causes of death in Cambodia. The Heart Centre was established to meet that challenge, bringing cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment to the province as a public health facility under the provincial health administration.
Health infrastructure of this kind demands more than standard construction expertise. The facility’s modern Cathlab and precision-designed procedure rooms called for exacting technical requirements, high-quality materials and strict compliance with health infrastructure standards — the disciplines our Cambodia practice is built on.
