Royal Hobart Hospital, Integrated Cancer Centre
Project scope
COVA provided all building services (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire protection) for the $38m AUD upgrade of the Royal Hobart Hospital A Block, now the Integrated Cancer Centre: multiple LINAC treatment bunkers, upgrades to the ground and first floors, the 7th and 8th floor oncology wards and all associated building infrastructure.
In 2019 we returned to replace the CT scanning suite and add a new LINAC machine, including a dedicated chilled-water system.
