90 Davey St, Hobart TAS 7000

Site energy audit that extended to Major Mechanical Upgrade. Works included removal of 2 x 1200 kW electric boilers and replacement with 2 x multi-function heating/cooling 4-pipe heat recovery chillers, demolition of unlagged site heating water reticulation, refurbishment of both main air handlers, toilet exhaust heat recovery systems, and most importantly staging of all works to maintain service to the 5-story hospital. Scope extended to include design of new ground floor HVAC system that was able to be installed due to a concurrent Level 1 ward upgrade requiring demolition of ceiling of floor below. COVA have since delivered a number of smaller works including most recently new HVAC to the Level 3 ward.
