Project scope
COVA provided project and construction management for the International School of Phnom Penh's purpose-built campus, completed in August 2015 and uniting the elementary and secondary schools on one site for the first time.
Funding required phased construction alongside a live school, so safety, noise and dust were managed to keep teaching running unhindered throughout.
The campus holds 1,000 students on 5.4 hectares, with an Olympic-size pool, indoor sports courts, playing fields, knowledge centre, art gallery and fully equipped laboratories.

- Funding restraints dictated that a phased construction approach was required to deliver the project. This meant that construction had to run in parallel with a live school for long periods of time bringing many challenges of safety and allowing tuition to proceed unhindered by noise and dust.
