Given the scale of this project, a few technical challenges naturally arose along the way. As COVA moves further into construction, the delivery of specialised pipework, large rock logistics, and excavation factors have prompted an adjustment of timeline by about 7-12 weeks.
On a positive note, project progress is going well: the first primary structure has been successfully erected, and the initial tilt-up panels – forming the impressive Main Mechanical Plant room, as designed by the one and only Paul King - are now in place. Our team is confident that this thoughtfully designed, spacious plant room will accommodate all necessary equipment.
With these new developments in mind, our new projected completion date is the first quarter of 2026. Stay tuned for regular updates as we continue to integrate all essential services and further enhance this project!
