COVA has been engaged to deliver the full mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulic (MEFH) design for a new Costco warehouse at 60-100 Greenhills Road, Pakenham, Victoria. The greenfield development follows Costco’s standard Australian format: a warehouse of around 14,000 square metres with up to 800 car spaces, high-capacity loading docks and a standalone petrol filling station.
Costco’s hybrid model, bringing together bulk grocery, fresh-food production, commercial kitchens, cold storage, general merchandise and fuel under one roof, makes for a demanding building-services brief, with extended operating hours.
It is COVA’s first Costco project, with more stores planned across Melbourne’s growth corridors and nationally. Read more on the Costco Pakenham project page.
