Maciej Jankowiak

Senior Design Manager | State Leader - TAS

Maciej is a mechanical engineer and Senior Design Manager with almost 25 years’ experience in the Tasmanian construction industry, and COVA’s State Leader for Tasmania. He leads the delivery of multidisciplinary building services - mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire - across private and government projects.

He is among the State’s most experienced engineering design managers, having led COVA’s engagement on the $58m Brighton High School, Tasmania’s largest public education infrastructure project in more than a decade. His portfolio includes the University of Tasmania IMAS Experimental Aquaculture Facility, the $28m UTAS Inveresk School of Architecture, the $50m Ibis Styles Hobart and more than 100 health, education, commercial and civic projects.

Maciej works closely with clients, consultants and authorities, bringing practical leadership and technical insight to every project, from leading design teams to navigating complex compliance requirements.
