Hospitality
Restaurant groups and venue operators appoint COVA for the building services, cost management and project delivery behind their kitchens, dining rooms and function spaces.
We design mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire services around how a venue trades, and coordinate them with the fitout so openings hold their dates.
National rollouts and venue redevelopments
COVA has delivered mechanical services for more than 50 Grill'd restaurants nationally, and continues to support the group as required.
For Australian Venue Co., COVA has delivered building services for more than 30 hospitality redevelopments nationally. They include Hickens Hotel, a four-level venue in the Melbourne CBD with a rooftop overlooking the city, and the $4m AUD upgrade of Morris House, where COVA delivered mechanical, electrical and fire engineering.
Historic buildings, new uses
Yiaga, chef Hugh Allen's restaurant, turned a historic single-storey pavilion in Melbourne's Fitzroy Gardens into a dining room of about 442 square metres. COVA designed and coordinated the full mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulic services.
At The Colliery, a revitalisation of the historic Paxton Colliery site, COVA is providing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and sustainability services, with hydraulic services connecting to the existing infrastructure.
Commercial management in Southeast Asia
In Bangkok, COVA provided commercial management, cost control and project management for the new build of The Londoner, a two-level venue with a rooftop deck. In Phnom Penh, COVA provided quantity surveying and contract management for Above 11.
