Country Leader - Vietnam

Caleb is COVA’s Country Leader for Vietnam, heading the Asia MEP team from the Ho Chi Minh City office. A mechanical engineer with a BEng (Hons), he brings experience across university, research, health, residential, hospitality and tourism sectors, including the St Johns Park Community Mental Health Facility and the University of Tasmania IMAS.

From Ho Chi Minh City, Caleb drives delivery management, BIM, and AI development and integration, with a relentless focus on continuous improvement.

He manages design of critical projects, specialising in high-end, sustainable design where architectural and interior finishes must be seamlessly coordinated.

Caleb joined COVA straight from university after a placement with the firm, and was Team Leader of the Hobart office before the Ho Chi Minh City office opened in 2025. As Country Leader he manages the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic team across Cambodia and Vietnam, secures new work locally and coordinates between COVA's Asian and Australian teams, building a local practice.

He names the University of Tasmania Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies aquaculture research facility as the most service-dense, engineering-intensive project of his career: engineering, project coordination and 3D coordination delivered through to full tender documentation.
