In 2020 COVA was engaged by JLL to provide Mechanical, Electrical, Fire, Hydraulic, Civil, and Structural Services for an Australia Post. Parcel Sorting facility located in Tullamarine, Melbourne VIC.

The project consists of redeveloping the existing 28,000 sqm warehouse into a fully automated parcel sorting facility along with an additional 1,000 sqm administration & dock offices The key function of the Warehouse to sort inbound parcels for delivery and distribution to other parcel sorting locations.

COVA were previously engaged by Australia Post to complete the Design & Construct Documentation, after which we were novated across to the builder to complete the project through to Construction.

The construction is progressing well on site, completion September this year. COVA is part of the project team alongside JLL, Ellis Architects, and Built Construction delivering for Australia Post, when once completed will be one of Victoria’s largest serving automated parcel sorting facilities.
