Project scope
80 Martin St, Brighton VIC 3186
COVA provided Mechanical, Electrical and ESD services for the new 2000sqm Performing Arts Centre. The 424 seat multi-purpose auditorium space is a departure from the traditional ‘black box’, as it has the ability to transition quickly from an acoustic and light isolated theatre for orchestral performance, to naturally lit space for gymnastics and dance. The project won Bayside Built Environment Awards, Best New Building (non-residential) Award, 2011 and Special Commendation for MBA Award in 2012.
