Koolan Island, Western Australia

An Iron Ore shiploader located on the remote Koolan Island in WA. The scope of works included the detailed design of a fixed luffing, slewing and shuttling shiploader along with aspects of design for the feed conveyor system. The client created a selected engineering team in order to accelerate project delivery and enable out loading of the high-grade Iron Ore available on the island. COVA provided site personnel to supervise machine assembly and commissioning on the remote island off the north west coast of WA.
