COVA Group were awarded the contract to design and construct the new facility. The scope of work was inclusive of two independent receival hoppers located at the Lascelles No.1 Berth, connected to a conveying system passing along a designated conveyor corridor to transport the Import Materials to Boral’s new facility. The import facility transports dry Gypsum, Cement Clinker (Clinker), Limestone and Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GBFS) from ships berthed at the Lascelles No.1 Berth to Boral’s facility located at the corner of Walch’s Rd and the Esplanade.
