The FPA KBT - Clinker Import Circuit is currently sitting @ 80% complete with the project transitioning into critical infrastructure shutdown tie in works, commissioning, demolition and close out works. The current approved project value is sitting at $88M.
The COVA senior management team would like to thank the entire COVA FPA team for their commitment and dedication to delivering this significant and innovative project. The FPA KBT project was ambitious from the outset and was guaranteed to challenge the resolve of the entire team.
The WA site-based construction team and valued subcontractors have continually demonstrated a can-do positive attitude, resilience, solution-driven thinking, consistency, patience, and safety culture to successfully deliver the construction chapter. This team has also been accommodating of the not-so-friendly WA construction rosters (13-day fortnights and four months of 24/7 operations to accommodate the dome build).
COVA Site Team: Danny Deale, Syed Zaid, Damian Halden, Alan Krishnan, Graham Fulton, Mel Culley, Carl Whitham and Chris Notnagel.

The COVA design team has worked tirelessly to deliver robust engineering solutions and provide dedicated project engineering support. The design has been a 2-year journey of guiding a concept to model, soft copy drawings, technical calculations, control philosophies, fabricated steel structure, bulk material handling components and client end user compliant performance circuit.
The cogs don’t turn without the often-overlooked project support functions who have guided the project through the various phases (Bid Team, Planning, Package Management, Document Control, Payroll, Commercial, Administration, Legal, QA, Safety & Project Controls)
I would encourage the entire team to take a minute to reflect on the achievements to date and the value added to COVA, FPA, the WA Government and the WA cement industry.
Delivering the project has been a significant step change for COVA in the EPC space.
