COVA have recently undertaken the Electrical and Hydraulics design for a 108 sq.m modular Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) department, which will be installed at a WA Health hospital in Mandurah, to supplement their existing sterilisation capabilities.
The new building contains several steam sterilisers, washers, dryers, RO plant, air compressors, and chillers, which each perform an important role sterilisation process, either directly or by supporting it.
The design process has required extensive liaison with the Architect and other consultants involved in the project to ensure appropriate coordination of all services, and ensuring compliance with the required standards.
