COVA has a long-standing history of successful projects working with Hyro Tasmania. This proud tradition continues with our ongoing works at the Lake Pedder Wilderness in Strathgordon. Works at Lake Pedder to date have included works to the function centre roof, and a full rebuild of the Gordon Wing of accommodation.
Works designed by COVA include base building HVAC plant, ventilation, air conditioning, hydraulic services, data and general power services to name just a few.
The project was required to be developed across a series of stages incorporating decanting works and strategic project timing, to ensure minimal disruption for site. This included the upgrade of the site FIP and backbone reticulation. For this detailed programming was required, with 12 separate pods to be constructed off-site and delivered progressively.
Critical COVA team members of this building services project included Tim King (Electrical & Lighting Designer), Patrick Bird (Hydraulic Designer) and Michael Fletcher (Mechanical Designer).
