POur Senior Design Manager, Dan Barnes, participated as a panelist at the Zenith Interiors Pty Ltd Show Rooms in Sydney, as part of the Women in Design and Construction GIDAC (Gentlemen in Design and Construction) event series called "Breaking the Stigmas."
The panel focused on addressing mental health in the workplace, specifically highlighting the stigmas men face in their day-to-day lives. The discussion centred around developing the skills to openly discuss mental health and support one another in various aspects of our lives, including our workplaces and communities.
As the construction industry has the highest rate of male suicide, as an industry we need to prioritise mental health & well-being.
