Making a Difference

COVA understands that January 26 can mean different things to different people, and that today marks a day of mourning for many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

We are committed to working together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in meaningful ways to support our First Nations people in realising their aspirations.

We want to send a message of support to all of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander colleagues, friends and partners and acknowledge the importance of truth telling in healing and learning from the past to build a better future for everyone.

COVA staff in nipaluna / Hobart listening and learning with bigambul and wakka man AJ King and palawa pakana woman Bronwyn Dillion about why it’s important for COVA to commit to making a difference for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people around the Country.
