WorldBridge Sports Village – Mixed-Use Residential and Retail Project
29 October 2021, Posted by Admin in HVACFor the last year, COVA has been working with local developer WorldBridge Group as the Consultant Quantity Surveyor on their large-scale commercial building and residential project called “WorldBridge Sports Village”. Construction is set for completion by 2023 when Cambodia hosts the SEA games.
The project is spread over 6 hectares next to Morodok Techo Stadium north of Phnom Penh, or in the so-called Hun Sen Dragon City.
The project will include 12 condominium buildings with a combined GFA of over 250,000m2 comprising 1,319 units, business flats, twin villas, shopping malls, and sports museums amongst many other amenities.
The developer aims to make this project the heart of the new Hun Sen Dragon City over the period of the SEA games. Whilst the games are underway these apartments will house the athletes during their stay in Cambodia. On completion of the SEA games, Phase 2 will commence where all the apartments used for the athletes will be converted into residential units and offered for sale on the local market.
